Get it here.
Here is the next beta of MacJournal 5.2.4. This is an unofficial final candidate build. That is, I'm not expecting to have to change anything before the final public release. In terms of what has changed in this beta, a few bug fixes and a few syncing changes. Starting a sync with an iPhone will do a backup first (just like with MobileMe). The automatic sync behavior is on by default now, but you can disable it. MacJournal entry URLs are now created with their IDs instead of topics, making for greater stability if you rename the entries. Also, you can sort search results in the entries list and that sorting will be remembered separately.
Please let me know of any problems you have by emailing me.

Hi Dan -
I'm on 5.2.4b5 on Mac, and I noticed that not all entries are saved to individual files (I need that functionality). I have one entry per day, but it stopped saving to individual files for August, except on August 13, then resumed in September... Anything I can do to get my daily file?
Thanks,
Frank
Try deleting the whole "Individual Files" folder. The next time it goes to make the backup, it will do a full export.

It works, but is there a way I can have the individual files backup without the whole backup of the data file?
Frank
Yes, they are controlled by different settings. However, if you disable the daily backup (which happens regularly), the individual files backup won't happen until you quit since that regularity is controlled by the daily backup.
