Get it here.
It's another beta! This beta adds an explicit "Import from Journler" menu item in the File menu that does a much better job than dragging a specific folder into the sidebar ever could. It also fixes a regression in an earlier beta with creating links to entries and showing the status sheet for the daily backup. Holding down the Option key when clicking the back or forward buttons in the calendar will now jump a year in that direction. The "magnify" gesture to change text zoom is now off by default since it seem it got more accidental use than intentional. There are other changes, so check out the Version History when you get it and let me know of any problems.

Import from Journler??? I must say, if I didn't already own MacJournal I think I would buy it just for this feature. Journler and MacJournal are the two best Mac apps I've found for stuffing EVERYTHING I need to keep track of in one place.
Journler seemed a little more userfriendly at the time, so I bought it. But now MacJournal has two big advantages over Journler: sync with iPhone and the fact that it isn't abandonware.
Thanks a lot!
I wouldn't normally have done the special import option, but since Journler is EOL, the format isn't a moving target, which makes it a lot easier to deal with.
Thanks again, and let me know if there's anything else that would make life easier for you.
Thanks for turning off the text zoom gesture!!!! I often encountered that and did not know how I had mistakenly zoomed the font size.
Yeah, it didn't seem like the usefulness of that feature really panned out. Maybe it needed bigger steps instead of a free zoom, but it's probably just better off for now.
syncing works very well; I had a problem sometimes before
Great, I'm glad it's working better and thanks for letting me know.
Re: the problem described in "How to change page size or remove right margin" on the forum.
I've looked at several existing entries that had trouble, and they're improved. Haven't brought in a new entry with the beta yet, but I'm encouraged.
Just tried a full-page HTML import with Text View set to 125%. Perfect!
Thanks!
Dan
I may have discovered something here. I again had the same error 600 come up with this new beta. I then realised that one of my journals had a separate lock. I unlocked that and it then was able to sync properly with my iPhone.
I will test this further and then report back.
Can you open the Console Messages window in the Help menu and email me anything that shows up there? Thanks.
