MacJournal 5.2.3

Get it here.

My apologies for the rapid-fire release but a bug was discovered for dealing with line breaks and I wanted to keep that working for all users and I'll be away from email for a few days so it was now or a while from now. One or two other bugs were fixed, including one with editing the top-level entry template in the Inspector.

There's a formatting problem with 5.2.3. I'm using SL 10.6.3

Specifically the right hand margins have been made very narrow: less than 6 inches. And there seems to be no way to adjust this. I didn't have the problem before 5.2.3

It seems there is an issue with the right margin when you have a text zoom higher than 100% when you launch. I'm working on a fix but it seems it works when you resize the window a tiny bit, it should reset the margin for now.

Dan: You're right, the resizing trick does work. And yes, I have most of my windows/entries set to a text zoom of 125 or 150%.

I can easily work around this issue for the time being, but glad to know a fix will be coming.

We seem to have lost Growl support. Macjournal doesn't appear in the Growl list of applications

This works for me. Please email me and we can discuss some details.

Feature Request: Vertical Margin adjustable setting for full screen view.

Hello Dan. I use the full screen view a lot and always have to put a few returns at the top of the page to get the text to a comfortable eye level height. It would be great if we could have an adjustable setting for vertical margins for full screen view.

Thanks in advance and keep up the great work!

Thanks for the suggestion. I plan to have more controls over this in the future.

It would be great to search all entries in a journal. If I'm looking for something specific I have to select an entry, hit cmd+G, select the next one, etc....

You can do this using the Search toolbar item, which should be visible by default. If that's not working for you, please email me and we can diagnose it. Thanks.
